What are some of the ways you are identifying homeless families, specifically in a school setting? What questions have you found work best to ask if you are identifying via school registration?
How are you making yourself known as the homeless liaison to the community?

      Hi Jamie! I joined local community groups that specifically help homeless families and families in need. I started with one group and learned that there were so many more in my community. Most of them met monthly. I would take my posters and business cards to share with them. From there, I would plan individual meetings with each of them to discuss how we can partner together as well as give them a brief training of MV. You will be surprised at how many don’t know the program exists. Once you make those connections, I made sure that I stayed in contact with each of them to some degree. Being that I was a 12-month employee, I would spend the month of June making new connections and following up with old. I’ve also done news and radio interviews.
