Happy Veteran’s Day!

Being homeless, or being at risk of homelessness, is one of the most difficult problems any Veteran can face. Do you have students in a veteran family experiencing homelessness? What resources are available in your community?

      Hi, @RachelMV! In our community, we have “Operation Green Light” the week leading up to Veterans Day. Community members and businesses are encouraged to use green lightbulbs in their porch lights and businesses to show gratitude and support for our veterans. One resource we have is a Veteran Navigator through community mental health where veterans can obtain various resources/supports such as housing, employment, transportation, support groups, mental health, etc.
