Time and resources

For anyone that has more than just MV that they are responsible for, how do you find the time to cover all of the needs of families and also where do you come up with resources when resources are limited within the community?

    • These are great suggestions! Try connecting with your local Continuum of Care. From there, you should be able to connect with different resources in the community. If that doesn’t work, consider creating a Facebook page where you may only post what’s needed for the family (Example: “Family of 4 in need of food assistance for the weekend”)

    • I agree with Patty, build those relationships! Don’t rush through things and always be willing to reach out to others to see what guidance they have.

HI Carla, my best response is to BUILD THOSE RELATIONSHIPS!! In your district, in your region, and especially in your community. We cannot do this work on our own… we GOTTA have partners and caring folks to call on for support for our kids and their families.

Great idea!! Work with your local or regional 211 provider to make it easier for you and save lots of time!

I don’t have any advice but I feel you! I also wear so so many hats in the district!
