Where do you find the best way to find actually tangible resources to send families to? Ie-gas cards, hotel stays, food, etc.

      Hi Nancy! We have local food pantries that provide us with flyers to help families. They require an appointment so many times I will help them with that. We also receive many donations from churches, agencies and organizations which we utilize to store clothing, toiletry items, shelf stable food items or gift cards.

      We used the ARP-HCY funds to fund gift cards that we have for families in need for both gas, school supplies, clothes, etc. In addition, we have worked with our IU to help with resources. They usually have a ton of supports. Finally, we have asked community organizations to help donate to a supply closet at all of our schools. These include hygiene products, clothing, supplies, etc. that we can provide families. Hotel has always been hard for us though to get tangible resources for.
