My Why

I’ve been through several roles over the last 16 years and no matter the role I’ve come across families in need that aren’t fully aware of the resources that may be available to them and those that while they may be aware of resources but don’t have the means to easily access them. I’ve found this heartbreaking and difficult at times. I’ve experienced this not only with McKinney Vento situations but with Special Education. I have 3 children, 2 of which are special needs and I find it important that our families feel comfortable and safe to come to us for support.
