      We got a pair of winter boots recently for a MV student… a common purchase where we live. The liaison let me know the student was thrilled and so giddy in the halls showing her friends her boots. She can now comfortably play at recess with her peers. A pair of boots might seem like a small thing but it made a huge difference for this kid.

      The first night hosting a project at our family shelter. The families loved the art project, which was awesome, but I also connected families with supports to remove barriers to full participation in school. It felt so impactful and the evenings I spend at the shelter are my most treasured!
