Community Organizations?

I am prepping a grant proposal presentation for our local United Way to cover items such as weekend food, hygiene items, school supplies, and emergency hotel stays. My question for all of you – what local organizations support your McKinney-Vento programs? I would love to hear!! 🙂 Thank you!!

      Target, Sam’s, and Walmart provide grants in our areas. You can try places like that. I also found that connecting with companies that also have non-profits attached to them is great! They are always looking for smaller groups to support and love the idea of helping students experiencing homelessness. Asking local churches to hold “gift card drives” works wonders as well.

      We have Faith based, small mom and pop business’, big corporate business at times, banks, school employees (incentive days like jean day), and other community agencies 🙂
