Bus Suspension
Important
Hello Tammy (@TammyVore). Great question. Yes, the school can expect the student experiencing homelessness to follow the the same code of conduct and consequences for not doing so. This however does not eliminate the need for the district to provide transportation to the school of origin. They will need to find another mode of transportation. It is also a good idea to review discipline policies and procedures and consider supports that may need to be provided to the student considering students who are experiencing homelessness are often disciplined at a higher rate than their housed peers.
