I would get some safety lights for the bike too since it’s so dark in the mornings. If you do end up getting a bike, come back and tell us about how’s it going. 🙂

@emackie – do you have any local bike shops? We once had a bike, helmet and lock donated for a student. 🙂

Hey @emackie, here are a few ideas/questions:
– could your school bus meet up with the school of residence bus?
– have your transportation department contact the school of residence transportation director.
– are there any community programs that could help this family get their mode of transportation back up and running?
